Workshop helps build useful skills up for success

By Jenean Zahran

A popular Skill Builder! workshop returns this winter focusing on attitude, motivation and time management.

Open to the general public, this presentation is done by Ken Culp, an instructor for the mathematics and computer science department.

It will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Back Room of the University Center on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

“The first half of the presentation is about how to obtain the proper mindset in order to be successful,” Culp said. “The second half focuses more on goal-setting and managing your time.”

This is meant to be an interactive presentation and Culp encourages participants to ask questions.

Students can register online at NMU’s Student Leader Fellowship Program’s Skill Builder! workshop page, http://webb.nmu.edu/Centers/StudentEnrichment.
