Junior goaltender Atte Tolvanen turned away 19 of 20 shots in the WCHA Championship game last Saturday against Michigan Tech University. Tolvanen posted a .950 save percentage and finished
the game with a 1.03 goals against average. Tolvanen was also recognized as top goalie in the WCHA this season, starting all 35 games, culminating in a 23-10-1 overall record, turning away 736 shots for a save percentage of .908.

Nordic Ski team wraps up season at National Championships
CELEBRATION — NMU womens hockey finished the DII National Championships 2-1, garnering the best record of any Michigan team participating in the tournament.
