STAYING SAFE—The updated mask mandate now requires everyone on campus whether vaccinated or not to wear masks in all buildings. The updated mandate came Monday afternoon to comply with CDC recommendations.

NMU offers COVID-19 related grant to students

NMU's Board of Trustees approved a COVID-19 related grant to help aid students while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Students can receive grants up to $1,000.

COVID-19 guidelines for fall, vaccination dining credit

With NMU kicking off the Fall 2021 semester, those on campus can expect to see similar safety protocols that were implemented the previous year to continue to keep everyone safe. NMU also pushes a focus on encouraging vaccinations with giving a $100 dining credit to those who upload their vaccination card to The Bridge.

VACCINE PAUSE—The CDC and FDA have recommended anyone who has received allocations of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to pause clinics after cases immerge of a rare and severe case of blood clotting. The news arrived on April 13 only a day after NMU received their Johnson & Johnson allocations for students.
