UPGRADE — Harden Hall is set to undergo a two-year renovation that will include a complete redesign of the Lydia M. Olson Library and will add a partial fourth floor. RAs demand better working conditions

Last Tuesday, former Resident Advisor (RA) Randy Landerson of Van Antwerp Hall threw a couch out the window in what he described as a fit of frustration at his residents, who were using a slip-and-slide in the hallway. RAs across campus have responded to this expression of anger by rallying together in an effort to achieve better working conditions.

The North Wind is an independent student publication serving the Northern Michigan University community. It is partially funded by the Student Activity Fee. The North Wind digital paper is published every Friday during the fall and winter semesters except on university holidays and during exam weeks. The North Wind Board of Directors is composed of representatives of the student body, faculty, administration and area media.
