Freshman guard Elizabeth Lutz shined for the Wildcats this weekend. Lutz scored 19 points against Lake Superior State University while making 100 percent of her shots taken, going 11/11 from the field and making both of her free throws. Against Ferris State University on Saturday, Lutz scored 14 points and made every free throw attempt, going 11/11 from the line. Her performance last weekend secured NMU a spot in the GLIAC conference playoffs. NMU as a team converted 89.3 percent of their free throw attempts against Ferris State.
