Students converged on the first floor of Jamrich Hall on Wednesday for the annual Student Organization Fair, transforming the space into a hub of campus life. Hosted by the Center for Student Enrichment, the event allowed students to explore different student organizations, connect with peers and discover new ways to get involved.
Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the fair offered more than just sign-up sheets. Attendees enjoyed snacks like popcorn and cookies and participated in giveaways and winter-themed activities.
Gwendolyn Feamster, a graduate student and an organizer of the event, said, “We have over 60 student organizations, which is really good, especially for the winter, and it seems like we’ve had a steady flow of students throughout the day. It’s good stuff, getting kids involved on campus.”
The event provided an engaging platform for students to build community, showcasing the many opportunities available on NMU’s campus.
