Have you been missing “outdoorsy” crafting due to the chilly weather that has consumed campus over the last few months? No worries! Northern’s Special Events Committee (SEC) is hosting Art on a Log (Paint and Sip) on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Northern Center Ballrooms.

This event will provide a relaxing environment for students to take a mid-week break from their stressors. Mocktails will be provided as students paint their “logs.” Art supplies and beverages will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you’re worried about a spot, arrive a few minutes early.

“It’s just to have fun and make something cool and unique for the students,” said Taz Stoetzner, Special Events Coordinator.

The SEC is excited to offer students a social and creative outlet with a fun twist. There will also be some stacks included if the “sip” aspect of sip and paint is not up your alley.

“It’s very popular with the Special Events Committee, as we’ve done a mocktails event each winter semester for a while now,” Stoetzner said.

More information, including pre-registration for the event, is available on the Hub.
