President Tessman seeks Presidency role at other university

Northern Michigan University’s President Dr.Brock Tessman is one of the top contenders for a vacant presidency role at Montana State University (MSU).

MSU announced on its website that NMU President Dr. Tessman and Vice Chancellor for Planning and Budget and Chief Financial Officer at the University of California, Merced Dr.Kurt Schnier were the two finalist for the position.

“The goal is to hire President Cruzado’s successor in the spring of 2025,” according to the MSU website.

Prior to being NMU’s President, Dr. Tessman worked as MSU’s Deputy Commissioner of Higher Education.

Dr.Tessman’s interview for the position at MSU is scheduled for March 27, and 28.
