DINING DONATION—A new option for students who are under a meal plan is to donate their unused dining dollars to NMU's Food Pantry. The option was implemented in December of 2020 with the idea stemming from Jacob McCann, a student who wanted to give his unused dining dollars to a good cause.

NMU student, Jacob McCann, proposed the idea for students to have the option to donate their unused dining dollars towards the NMU Food Pantry for those in need.
The NMU Food Pantry is available to students, faculty and staff, however it is not offered to community members. Donations can be dropped off at the ASNMU and Student Support Services offices.
