In the Aug. 31, 2016 article “Former NMU student pleads guilty to assault,” it should have said the university’s student conduct board also investigated the alleged assault, and that one of the students was given sanctions in relation to the incident, but the other was not.
The university is not disclosing the name of which student was penalized.
