Freshman lacrosse attack/midfielder Emily Dvorak scored four goals and registered an assist for NMU in her first college game on the road last weekend against Wheeling Jesuit University. Dvoark is a strong forward who coach Amilia Ward expects to be a leader for the nine freshman on the women’s lacrosse roster. In NMU’s exhibition match to start the season, Dvorak scored three points, a goal and two assists while also registering six shots on goal.
