The Center for Student Enrichment is offering students an opportunity for meditation through the Skill Builder, "Falun Dafa - An Ancient Practice to Improve Mind and Body." On Thursday, Oct. 18, NMU economics professor Hsin-Ling Hsieh will teach a progression of exercises that are not just for the body.

Group brings world hunger to their table

During October, NMU's Sustainable Agriculture Club (SAC) will offer students two different opportunities to become better educated on the issue of world hunger. On Wednesday, Oct. 16, World Food Day will be held in room 109 of the LRC. As a part of World Food Day, a teleconference focused on the current agricultural devastations caused by climate change will be conducted from noon to 3 p.

Workshop teaches students about Islam
