On Dec. 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. we will all collectively (with or without the help of Ryan Seacrest) count down the remaining seconds of the year and breathe a sigh of relief as the year 2020 is vanquished, slain like the ferocious dragon that we all imagine it to have been, wreaking havoc upon our daily lives and sending us in turmoil.

The North Wind is an independent student publication serving the Northern Michigan University community. It is partially funded by the Student Activity Fee. The North Wind digital paper is published daily during the fall and winter semesters except on university holidays and during exam weeks. The North Wind Board of Directors is composed of representatives of the student body, faculty, administration and area media.
