COLLECTIVE SUPPORT — Poster-making at Feminism for All weekly meeting on Oct. 10 in preparation for the annual Slut Walk. The organization will be hosting another pre-poster making event on Oct. 14 at 3:30 p.m. in the Hunt and Van Antwerp residence hall lobbies.

Feminism for All will host its annual Slut Walk on Friday, Sept. 10. The hope with the Slut Walk is to provide a space for the campus community to confront rape culture, bring around awareness surrounding sexual assault and reclaim the word.

A movement which was begun after a Toronto police officer told young women they “should avoid dressing like sluts” to prevent sexual assault, the Slut Walk continues to be relevant in 2021.

The North Wind digital paper is published every Friday during the fall and winter semesters except on university holidays and during exam weeks. The North Wind Board of Directors is composed of representatives of the student body, faculty, administration and area media.
