Editorial—Renewable energy not to blame for power failures

Following the disastrous power outages experienced by Texas residents in mid-February, a national conversation highlighted the blame placed on renewable energy for the failure of the Texas power grid.
Sam Rush/NW SOLAR POWER - The Superior Solar Project hopes to be in the construction phase as early as mid-2022 and in an operational capacity by the end of 2023. The solar farm will be located in Sands Township.

The North Wind digital paper is published every Friday during the fall and winter semesters except on university holidays and during exam weeks. The North Wind Board of Directors is composed of representatives of the student body, faculty, administration and area media.
