If dubstep and electronic music isn’t quite your cup of tea, don’t fret, there are plenty of other festival options in the midwest and surrounding areas to keep you satisfied. Hoxeyville Music Festival, located just outside of Cadillac, MI, is a bit more mellow than Electric Forest. Bringing in just 2,000-3,000 festival goers, Hoxeyville is a place to sit back, relax and enjoy some incredible bluegrass and rock and roll. Headliners this year included The Mickey Hart Band, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Greensky Bluegrass, Seth & May and 7 Walkers.
