Those interested in getting involved at the Native American Student Association can attend an upcoming open house for students. The event will be held virtually due to safety considerations in the continuing pandemic.

The open house will be held in Zoom format and will take place on Monday, February 1 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Those interested can save the event date on NMU’s social platform, the Hub. The meeting can be accessed from this Zoom link with the passcode: biindige.

Along with providing an introduction to the organization for those who may be new, the meeting will also cover recent changes in the organizational structure.

“This open house will include introductions of current NASA members, it will explain our purpose and goals, showcase past and future events, and it will cover how we rebuilt our existing organizational structure into a decolonized medicine wheel framework,” according to the event poster.

There will also be time for questions and discussion after introductions. Those interested are encouraged to tell their friends about the event and attend.
