The Marquette City Police Department (MCPD) is looking for a stolen car suspect who crashed into a house in the 600 Block of Union Street, just North of NMU’s campus in Marquette last Friday.

On Sept. 8, at approximately 12:17 a.m., MCPD responded to a call that a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a house on the 600 Block of Union Street in Marquette.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle involved had been stolen from a nearby residence before the crash. The driver fled the scene before police arrived and is still at large.
