Student Org Spotlight

It can be a challenge to make it through Marquette’s long winters, so organizations like the NMU Board & Ski club find opportunities to make the best of the snowy months. Board & Ski club is a social club centered around skiing and snowboarding, sophomore and secondary education major Darrin Bergman, Board & Ski club vice president said. “We give skiers and snowboarders an opportunity to meet new people and have fun on the mountain,” Bergman said. The Board & Ski club meets at Marquette Mountain once there is sufficient snow and hosts events to support each other and watch or participate, senior and graphic design major Evan Erickson, club president said. Anyone is invited to join, regardless of experience. Contact [email protected] for more info or check out their Instagram @nmuboardandski and Facebook page.
